Hands down, I’ll have to say Netflix’s Cursed. I’m starting from a place of bias because historical fantasies are my jam, so I’m not completely taking into account the mixed reviews. I feel like the Arthurian legend is one that just keeps giving, but Nimue’s story brings a fresh angle. While a handful of things could have been better, I loved seeing a strong female lead minus the dripping sexuality and underlying male gaze.
At the end of the day, worse shows are still on the air, but I would love to explore how Nimue and Arthur’s stories are intertwined. So, which canceled TV show do you think deserves another chance? You get extra credit for underrated picks!
